A single Swallow over the main lake on arrival. John had at least two Otters at Kramer Hide at 07:00. We wandered out along the cycle track to the Tern Pool. On the new workings on 100 Acre there were 2 Little Grebe and at least 6 Tufted Ducks. On Meadow Lane GP another 2 pairs of Tufted Ducks. Min 8 Sky Larks in the fields before the Bypass and another 2 pairs of Tufted Ducks on the Tern Pool. A Yellow Wagtail flew alongside the bypass on the opposite side from the Tern Pool. We had one 1 Sedge Warbler at the STW reed bed showing well and another, later, over on Fenlake. Very little else on Fenlake today.
Forgot the female Mallard with 5 ducklings on the Tern Pool. We also had 5 Greylag Geese on the main lake at Priory.
