Cuckoos were active around Fingers again. The main lake Mute Swans still have 4 cygnets. At Kramer hide a Blackcap family were in the willow on the left of the hide. The youngster was chasing dad around begging for food. Along the east side of Fingers a family of Common Whitethroats were in the trees by the lake. There were at least 2, possibly 3 youngsters being fed by the adults.
